I agree with the nice things that have been said already by the other reviewers - it a great piece of hardware for the price. This will be my everyday machine, and I got it because all I need to carry around is a simple, lightweight terminal/webbrower. Used Wubi to put ubuntu on it, and with a few tweaks it works great. (Windows is still on here, but I blew away all that useless bloated annoying crap that came preloaded.)
Well worth it. My biggest advice to people looking at netbooks is to go with something that has a big battery - the 6 cell in here lasts forever as far as I'm concerned. Fantastic.

I wanted it to replace my old PDA Dell that needed yet another battery. This offers so much more function than a PDA. I really loaded it with full Office Pro, photo programs, Ghost, Nero (lite version) and it's working excellent. I had to buy an external DVD/CD to load the large programs so that was an additional $90. I LOVE this little laptop.

This is a great device. No CD/DVD drive. Who uses this these days? No bluetooth? I don't need it! The best thing about this laptop is that its so portable that I don't even feel the weight while traveling compared to my 8 pound old laptop. Highly recommended.

A really grat netbook with a really poor 3 cell battery (duration: not more than 3 hours).

I installed XP and Windows 7 on the Acer Aspire One and it works flawlessly, I connected it to my SONY 40-inch LCD HDTV and it performed amazingly well, the battery last enough..actually 3 hours is more than enough, compared to 1 hour on my 15-inch COMPAQ.
I have no complaints except that I would like a thinner laptop but this works for me.
If you have the money get one, NOT TOMORROW, NOT LATER...... TODAY.
Oh and get it in black, the other colors make it look like a worthless toy.

I don't know if I purchased a different release but the wifi is awful. It drops off more often that alltel. I purchased this to be a portable so that's a deal breaker. This thing is going back.

I purchased mine(A150-1505) from Wal-mart on-line, LOVE IT!!!! It has a 6 cell battery and it's lasted 7 hrs before recommonding to switch over to AC.
