Andy: After i decided to get a netbook, I was looking at the Acer Aspire One and almost bought one until I saw the Samsung. The NC10 has better specs (160gb, bluetooth, 6 cell, 1.3mp cam) for a similar price and looks even better. The larger screen and smaller bezzel mean the proportions look right. The trackpad also looks nicer than the Acer with it having rocker style buttons underneath.
Gerom: Speed. Speedy laptop. It gets the job done.
Rick: I would have to give NC10 top marks for quality built, design, battery life, and keyboard size. If you are looking to buy a netbook (I spent months researching), I would definitely recommend the Samsung.
Lennie M.: 6 cell battery, 2 GB ram Upgradable, big keyboard, matt (no glare) finish screen, Windows XP doesn't run as sluggest on this Samsung as the Acer Aspire One, powerful enough to run Office, Photoshop, etc. This is definitely the laptop of 2008!
JYL: Hi, Good review on Samsung MC 10. How can I install MS Office CD without the CD drive? How is it compared with HP 2133 and Acer One? thanks
Hugo: I tested out its battery. I am confident that if I took this on a plane with me I could watch two or three full-length movies before my battery dies. This was a huge selling point for me. Most other mini laptops have similar great features but many lack such battery life. i couldn't find any faults in this netbook.. sure there are nit-picky things you can point out, but come on, it is like trying to find faults in a BMW 7 series.
Tom Mello: this laptop, is an excellent machine, its fast, the wifi is brilliant, the battery life is near enough a none issue, (until it pops up) the ethernet card is a work of art. The build quality, has astounded me, i cannot believe the abuse this laptop has gone through. Being dropped from a range of hieghts, ranging from 1 meter, to around 50-70cm, and it is still in working order. I once had a dell laptop, studio 1535, i hated it, vista was awful, the build quality just didnt seem the same, and the battery AWFUL. people complain about the lack of a CD drive, who needs one, when theres billions of web pages out there, with so many things to download. This is a work of art, and i recomened it to anyone
Anatoly Cherniakov: Really good! So amazing and smart!
kwabena: How can I instal ms office 2007 software as it has no CD/DVD?
trev: ps....that's an external optical via usb
trev: JYL Because of windows installer and license issues, you cannot install office via usb, only via an optical drive
